Inner Peace & Relaxation Nidra

Are you looking for a friendly relaxation class that feels inviting and soothing? Are you seeking effective ways to de-stress and improve your sleep quality in a nurturing environment? Are you new to yoga and wish to discover an easy and gentle way into your practice? Yoga Nidra is often regarded as the deepest form of relaxation available. The unique yogic state of Nidra transcends the typical waking state, goes beyond the dreaming state, and enters into a transformative form of sleep where you are, paradoxically, fully awake and aware. The stillness experienced during this practice fosters incredible calmness, clarity of mind, and a profound sense of deeply nourishing rest.

In this enriching class, you will embark on a beautiful, guided Yoga Nidra journey that is accessible to everyone. All levels are welcome, including those who are just beginning their yoga journey. After participating in the class, you will leave feeling renewed, energized, and thoroughly rested, as if you have enjoyed a lengthy, restorative sleep. You can expect to experience complete physical, mental, and emotional relaxation, allowing you to recharge fully. When Yoga Nidra is practiced regularly, it cultivates a deep state of calm that seamlessly transcends into your everyday life. Tasks that may have previously felt strenuous—both mentally and physically—will no longer carry the same weight of stress once you have achieved this remarkable state of tranquility.

Yoga Nidra, often referred to as Yoga Sleep, represents a unique state of consciousness that exists between waking and sleeping. In this state, the body enjoys complete relaxation, and the practitioner becomes systematically and increasingly aware of their inner world by following a carefully crafted set of verbal instructions. Unlike meditation, which typically requires concentration on a single focal point, Yoga Nidra allows the practitioner to remain in a state of light pratyahara, where four of the senses are internalized, leaving the sense of hearing to connect solely to the guiding instructions. Ultimately, the yogic goal shared by both deep relaxation and meditation is the attainment of a meditative consciousness.

To ensure a comfortable and enriching experience, please wear loose, comfortable clothing and consider bringing along blankets, pillows, and your yoga mat for added support and relaxation.
