KELLY CRAIG
Kelly, owner, manager and instructor of Invati Yoga + Wellness, developed a passion for yoga similar to her passion for the 12 steps after moving from North Vancouver to Kelowna in 2007.
In 2015, she completed a 500-hour YTT with Moksha International and has continued her growth as a teacher by studying under renowned instructors such as Susie Newson (Mocean Yoga), Eddie Modestini & Kristin Bosteels (Yoga On The Inside), Nicki Doane (Maya Yoga), Ryan Leier (One Yoga), Father Joe (founder of Kripa Foundation), Sir Ramaswami (Vinyasa Krama), HS Arun and Manuso Manos (Iyengar Yoga), amassing over 1800 hours of YTT and intensives. Kelly incorporates all her favourite teachings into her classes, Yoga On The Inside, Hatha, Vinyasa, and restorative, to create passionate, inspiring, fun and challenging practices for her students. She loves to weave her daily life’s experiences and travel in and through her classes, always looking for those sweet spiritual experiences that help us stand in our power and connect with ourselves. As she guides her classes through her stories and teachings, her students are able to reflect on their own lives. Kelly loves encouraging everyone to take their power out into their daily lives, creating more peace in a world of many challenges and heartache.
Yoga, for Kelly, is a journey of life with courage, humility, discipline, determination and faith. In 2018, she fulfilled her dream of creating Invati Yoga + Wellness in Lake Country, offering students a welcoming and supportive space to heal and grow.
In 2020, Kelly faced a significant challenge when she was involved in a head-on car crash. However, through her spiritual teachings and practice, she was able to recover gracefully and heal her mind, body, and spirit, diving even deeper into Therapeutic Yoga On The Inside.
Inspired by the transformative power of yoga, Kelly opened a sister location in Kelowna, September 2022, expanding her service through the new location.
Kelly’s love of travel has become a search for service around the world, creating impact in developing countries. Humans and animals suffering from lack of basic needs to devastating loss through tragedies such as the wild fires in Maui.
Kelly believes we can all make a difference in our world and the power of passing on and sharing our teachings will make a difference in our world!
Kelly continues personal growth and healing through her everyday experiences, studies and travels.

RYAN WALTON
Originally from Australia. Ryan made his way to Canada in 2004 to experience the Canadian ski hills on a one-year work visa, 19 years later he's still here.
Like many others, problems started to arise within the body for which stretching would help to subside. His massage therapist said, "have you tried yoga?"
Six years later the journey continues, moving from not just physical well-being. But into a path of self-discovery and the desire to repay the teachings Ryan discovered and continues to discover for himself..."yoga is an everyday practice, on and off the mat"
He completed his first 200 hr YTT at Vikasa yoga academy in Ko Samui Thailand. Where the core principals of intelligent freestyle sequencing are instilled, a good balance between strength and stretch. As well as a 250 hr under Beth Davis, passing down her wealth of knowledge on the Ghosh lineage and "living yoga".
The only question now is, where to train next? Until he figures that out find Ryan on our Invati schedule leading flow classes and karma classes.

MELANIE KREPP
Melanie’s time on her mat began with a few sporadic classes to balance out a new fitness regime. She was in her early thirties and began noticing her high metabolism was not all she could rely on to stay healthy.
Group classes motivated her to go to the gym, and she mixed up her options to include everything from step classes, to weight training, and then started to balance it out by including a few yoga classes.
She knew she needed to stretch, and at the same time was inspired most by classes that made her move and sweat (even without a hot yoga room).
The continuous movement made the classes fly by, until the final resting pose – savasana.
She loathed the end of class. It meant she needed to lie in stillness, be quiet, and attempt to meditate. The five minutes felt like 20 minutes with her monkey mind moving so fast she couldn’t keep up.
Melanie didn’t see the point. She was finished with her workout and wanted to be the first to the showers so she didn’t have to queue up while attempting not to get her clean towel wet with sweat.
One morning, a teacher played a song during savasana that stirred up meaningful memories. Tears dripped from the corners of her eyes. She felt her entire body on the mat that day including the emotions that were being released from her.
She stayed behind until the room was cleared out and slowly rolled up her mat. She felt lighter. She was more aware of her surroundings. Her body and emotions felt connected.
The experience intrigued her and she started to attend more yoga classes. The final resting pose began to feel comfortable. The brief morning meditations became something Melanie yearned for at the end of class. They helped her begin the day with a clean slate.
Her restless mind was ready to be free and her spiritual journey had begun.
Melanie resided in Hong Kong for 15 years working as a real estate agent and yoga instructor. She completed her 200 and 300 hour teacher training with Patrick Creelman and Rinat Perlman at Pure Yoga Hong Kong.

CHANTAL GOSSELIN
Chantal’s journey into yoga started in 2010 when she tried out a Moksha class. As a physical education teacher, she wanted to learn about yoga in order to incorporate fun, insightful and creative ways to motivate her students to move in healthy ways.
Needless to say, she was drawn in quickly. Like most people, the physical aspects of yoga is what got her interested in the first place, but she realized that there was much more to it. The magic of yoga started to do its trick and helped her with managing stress, restoring her digestive system and guiding her through her spiritual journey. She often says that yoga “saved her life” by helping her maintain a healthy mind, body and spirit.
Having been a regular yogini and experiencing all of the benefits of yoga, Chantal wanted to incorporate it in her classroom. In 2015, following a deep meditation during a yoga retreat, she experienced a strong intuitive message telling her to bring yoga into schools. She started by teaching students basic breathing and meditation techniques to reduce their stress and increase their focus. In 2016, she started a pilot project and created a yoga club for high school teens and teachers.
Chantal is a 200hrs trained Hatha teacher with additional training in Restorative and Yoga Nidra. Her style of yoga incorporates a blend of hatha, flow and intuitive movements, while respecting the traditions of the asanas. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Kinetics as well as a teaching degree. She has been a teacher for over 10 yrs and loves to bring a strong sense of awareness to her students. She also guides individuals through their personal journey as a Certified Intuitive Coach.

SHALANNE WILKISON
Born and raised in Kelowna, Shalanne’s love for yoga was a slow burning fire. It started out light when she began exploring a yoga series at the local recreation centre, which smouldered for a few years, until a new spark at a local gym rekindled her curiosity to explore this new-found activity further and pursue the available local teacher training.
Leading her first class during training ignited her passion for working with people who are wanting to connect with themselves and better themselves in the process. Completing her Kripalu Teacher Training and Holistic Health Counseling at Trinity Yoga Center, Shalanne went on to first lead a weekly free class while she found her voice and deepened her exploration of yoga in her body.
Shalanne has been a part of Invati from day 1, She loves connecting with her students in her weekly classes. Her classes have been known to be stronger than first anticipated but this Yoga Wizard – as one client noted – encourages and allows clients to explore their bodies safely and perhaps to find themselves somewhere they wouldn’t have expected.
Join Shalanne to see if you can find yourself, in a familiar or unique space with a new appreciation. Be open to the experience and see what may come forward.
